In this exclusive interview, Anita Rover tells us about her journey from healthcare to Dorcel studios, her XMA Europa Awards victory, her AVN nominations experience, and the big dream she hopes to fulfill: shooting for Blacked with Jason Luv.
Welcome Anita, and thank you for accepting this interview! To start, can you tell us about your path before 2022 and what led you to enter the adult industry?
My name is Anita Rover, I’m 28 years old and I live in the South of France. I’ve been an actress and content creator for almost three years, after working in healthcare. I’ve been a true libertine for over seven years. Before that, I was a rather reserved person, but very uninhibited with my partner. We wanted to explore this world to spice up our relationship and live new experiences. It was a real revelation for me.
I immediately felt in my element: freedom, sexual escape, incredible encounters… I fully blossomed in sex, seduction, my naughty side and my “unapologetic slut” persona.
It’s in this context that I started camming on the libertine site Wyylde. Quickly, I was advised to move to platforms where I could be paid for what I was doing, because apparently I was doing it well. Being able to make money doing what I love? Who would refuse? That’s when “Anita Rover” was born.
Since entering the industry, your career has experienced incredibly rapid growth. How have you experienced this journey so far, and what are the memories or experiences that have marked you the most?
It was my first subscribers and “fans” on camgirl sites who told me about MYM and OnlyFans platforms. I did my research, and in August 2022 I opened my accounts. To increase my visibility, I decided to shoot my first professional scenes in October. And from there, everything took off.
I’ve traveled abroad dozens of times and I think I have at least 200 scenes to my name, across all categories. Among these, 33 films with Dorcel – my favorite production so far – for a total of about thirty scenes. I’ve also shot around twenty films for Canal+, worked with Nikita Belucci, Mariska… I think I was the French actress who shot the most in 2023-2024 for French productions.
You chose the stage name “Anita Rover.” What’s its origin and what does it represent for you?
Anita Rover is a mix of my real first name, and Rover… because I’m a fan of Range Rovers!
You work extensively with Dorcel, a worldwide reference in French adult entertainment. What do you particularly appreciate about their style and way of working?
Dorcel is a production I deeply respect. I’ve worked with all their directors. They’re professional, attentive, and always have beautiful scripts and staging that showcase actresses. I still have some very exciting projects coming with them, by the way.
At the recent XMA Europe Awards, you were nominated for Female Performer of the Year and won an award. What do these recognitions mean to you at this stage of your career?
The awards I won this year are my first victories and I hope many more will come. Last year, I had the honor of being nominated at the AVN Awards, in the category of the 10 best actresses of the year, and the only French one. If I get nominated again next year, I’ll go to the United States!
How would you describe your approach on set? Do you have a particular way of preparing before a scene?
What distinguishes me most is my total naturalness. And unlike some, I’m a sex enthusiast. I do the real thing. I love this industry, I love my job and it shows. And I have a spontaneity that makes people feel comfortable with me. I’m a nice person.
In your opinion, what sets you apart from other performers and what allowed you to quickly become one of the big names in the industry?
As I said, it’s my completely natural approach. I don’t fake it, I’m authentically myself. I truly love what I do and it comes across in every scene.
Outside of sets, who is Anita Rover? What are your passions, your personality, what inspires you in everyday life?
In my personal life, I’m a straightforward person, simple, I love simple things. I take care of myself, my home, and my family.
Are there directors, studios, or performers you dream of collaborating with in the future?
I dream of shooting my first interracial scene with Jason Luv for Blacked! It’s my ultimate goal!!
Your career is still young but already highly recognized. Where would you like to be in five years? What are your long-term goals?
My long-term and short-term goals remain secret, but many things are coming. 😛
