Klem Rover is one of the most compelling French male performers of his generation. Until a few years ago he was a self-employed itinerant mechanic – repairing electric pallet trucks, forklifts, and telescopic cranes – before trading tools for a world he had been exploring for some time as a libertine.
In just a few years, Klem built a recognizable presence on the French scene, working his way toward the most prestigious productions. Today he collaborates with Dorcel, one of the most respected names in adult entertainment worldwide. 2025 proved to be a turning point: two nominations at the XMA Europa Awards in the same category, Best Sex Scene – Orgy/Group, for Pigalle and Boldness, both produced by Dorcel. The award went to Pigalle, an ambitious project featuring 16 performers including Amirah Adara, Lola Bellucci, Diana Lawrence, and Matthew Meier. The same film then earned him a nomination at the AVN Awards 2026 in the Best International Group Sex Scene category, this time for Pigalle – Scene 3.
In this interview, Klem Rover reflects on his journey, his view of the French adult industry, and the philosophy that has set him apart: humility, constant self-improvement, and a genuine commitment to his craft.
How did you get into the adult industry, and what drove you to make it your profession?
I entered this world in 2022. Before that I was a libertine – I was doing cam sessions on well-known sites, then I opened my own platforms, trying to balance everything alongside my previous job. At some point I realized I needed to grow my visibility and put my old career behind me for good. I reached out to a French production company and was lucky enough to shoot my first professional scenes. I managed to find my footing quickly, leave my former job behind, and make a full living from adult entertainment.
You started in 2022 and in just a few years became a recognizable face on the French scene. How do you explain that rise?
I don’t think it happened by chance. I have an easygoing personality, I’m always questioning myself, and I try to stay humble. I want to give everything I have every single time. You also have to understand that this profession is about so much more than a single scene.
You were nominated at the XMA Europa Awards 2025, where you won Best Sex Scene – Orgy/Group. What did that mean to you?
I was really happy – I had a big smile on my face. As the award itself makes clear, I wasn’t alone in this: it was a team effort. Every performer was outstanding, and the technical crew behind that scene is among the best in France.
How do you see the French adult industry today? And what do you think of its evolution in the face of the rise of independent creators and platforms like OnlyFans?
Personally, I think France should have more productions. French performers are loved all over the world – there’s work here, but not nearly enough. I’m one of the few actors in France who actually makes a living from this profession. We need better legal protection in this country. The growth of platforms like MYM or OnlyFans doesn’t help the professional side of things: tomorrow anyone can become a creator, but at what cost? It’s not the same job. Not everyone is ready to take on that role, and the consequences can be serious. You have to be resilient.
If you had to sum up your journey in one sentence, what would it be?
“I’ve approached this industry with humility, focusing on quality and respect throughout my career – and I’ll keep doing exactly that, year after year.”
