The nominations for the second edition of the SXMA Awards 2026 have been announced – the awards dedicated to excellence in marketing, innovation and communication across the global adult and pleasure industry. Voting is open from April 8 and runs until May 7, 2026, with the awards ceremony scheduled for June 26 in Berlin as part of the SX Festival & Expo, the three-day event bringing together culture, innovation and industry business at Heeresbäckerei Berlin from June 26 to 28.
The SXMA Awards, organized by SX Tech EU, represent a unique recognition in the international landscape because they don’t celebrate performers or film productions, but the strategic and creative excellence behind the brands, agencies, platforms and creators redefining industry standards. Among the nominees is PRN, shortlisted in the Best Media Outlet category alongside seven other international outlets.
For us at PRN, this nomination is a meaningful recognition of the editorial work we carry out every day with the goal of covering the adult industry with seriousness and professionalism. Being included in an international selection alongside established outlets is already a major milestone for us. We compete in the Best Media Outlet category alongside PlayFulMag, ShootXEvents, Banksie Tv, Naked News, CANAL+ LOVE, SexTechGuide and Moi Pleasure. Voting is open to everyone until May 7, 2026 on the official SXMA Awards website.

As Ola Miedzynska, founder of SX Tech Europe, put it: “If you’re curious about sex as a concept, art, creation, product, experience, fetish, kink, business, or technology, this is your place. Be in Berlin. Meet people from every corner of the scene who will bring you inspiration, education, networking, discovery, plus fun, pleasure, and far more beyond. Think Coachella meets TechCrunch… but for sex.”
Marketing, innovation and tech: how SXMA differs from traditional awards
Unlike traditional adult industry awards such as AVN, XMA or TEA – which celebrate artistic performance, directing and film production – the SXMA Awards focus exclusively on marketing strategy, communication, design, technological innovation and community building. There are no categories for Best Performer, Best Scene or Best Director, but rather recognitions for Best Social Media Campaign, Creator Growth Engine Solutions, Best Design and Best Influencer Campaign.

As Kathryn Byberg, founder of Little Leaf Agency GmbH and official PR partner of the SXMA Gala Awards 2026, noted: “SX Tech EU does a fantastic job at gathering brilliant minds from different parts of our industry to celebrate their work under one same roof. Our industry is shifting, and the SXMAs are proof that we are in need for creative, groundbreaking campaigns and projects that push our industry forward with fresher, smarter ideas. It is a real honour for Little Leaf to be part of the awards.”
The SXMA Awards recognize those who work behind the scenes: the agencies building effective communication strategies despite mainstream social media restrictions, the tech platforms enabling creators to scale their businesses, the designers translating strategic vision into distinctive visual identities, and the media outlets covering the industry with professionalism and rigor.
Ola Miedzynska added: “We can’t wait to see which new trends and voices will emerge through this year’s voting. We invite creators, brands, agencies, and community leaders to help decide who truly deserves to be in the spotlight.”
SX Festival & Expo 2026

The SXMA Awards are not a standalone event, but an integral part of the SX Festival & Expo 2026, taking place June 26-28 at Heeresbäckerei Berlin in the Kreuzberg district. The event brings together three distinct but connected dimensions of the adult and pleasure universe: culture, innovation and business.
SX Tech EU, the event organizer, has been operating since 2019 as a Berlin-based professional networking platform, hosting six sold-out events across more than ten global markets. From 2019 to 2024 the company organized the SX Tech Conference, a B2B event focused on technology, innovation and business. From 2025 the format evolved into the SX Festival & Expo, integrating the business component with a broader cultural and community dimension.
The Festival unfolds across multiple levels. On the lower floors, the cultural and community component features immersive art exhibitions, sexual education workshops, themed panels and live performances. On the third floor, the Business Area – reserved for industry operators, investors and startups – hosts two stages with keynotes, panels and practical sessions on regulation, traffic, e-commerce, artificial intelligence, marketing, payments and the creator economy.
The event is designed for two complementary audiences: the public drawn to kink and fetish culture, sex-positive education, pleasure products and contemporary art; and industry professionals working across creator platforms, payment providers, affiliate networks, fashion brands, regulatory services and adult tech startups.
The cultural programme includes three dedicated spaces. The Sensual Stage hosts meetings with creators, art exhibitions and panels on contemporary perspectives on sex and intimacy. The Sex Edu Stage offers practical workshops, panels and interactive sessions. The Kinky Garden is the space for artistic performances and live shows, featuring artists such as Kylie Darling, Anne Allura, Magdalena Piech and James Indigo.
The SXMA Awards ceremony will officially open the Festival on the evening of June 26, serving as the inaugural moment for the three-day event.
