Come ad ogni premiazione internazionale, dopo avervi informato sulle candidature generali, entriamo nello specifico delle nomination dove sono coinvolti i nostri connazionali. Agli XBIZ Europa Awards 2024, infatti, troviamo numerosi performer italiani in nomination.
L’italiano che si porta a casa più candidature è il Male Performer Of The Year in carica, Christian Clay, che si riconferma nella categoria più prestigiosa per gli attori anche quest’anno: vincendo diventerebbe il primo nella storia degli XBIZ Europa Awards a trionfare in due anni consecutivi. Christian Clay è inoltre candidato per ben tre volte in Feature Movie of the Year, dove ha partecipato a tre film che sono in nomination: Evermore (Digital Playground), The Heiress 2 (Private) e Hotel Vixen Season 2 (Vixen Media Group). Clay è poi candidato in Glamcore Movie of the Year con Club VXN 13 (Vixen Media Group), in Gonzo Movie of the Year con Total Ecstasy 2 (Private), in Best Sex Scene — Glamcore con Sunset Serendipity (Sensual-X/sssh.com) e in Best Sex Scene — Gonzo con Backside (Tushy Raw).
Christian Clay non è l’unico italiano candidato come Male Performer Of The Year: in nomination per la vittoria del prestigioso premio c’è infatti anche Raul Costa, che si porta inoltre a casa alla candidatura nelle categorie Glamcore Movie of the Year con due film – Cuckold Confessions (Private) e The Sex Artists (Rocco Siffredi Films) – e Gonzo Movie of the Year con Rocco’s Sex Clinic: Treatment 9 (Evil Angel).
Come intuibile dalle nomination di Raul, Rocco Siffredi e la sua produzione sono presenti anche quest’anno, oltre che per le scene appena citate, per Best Sex Scene — Gonzo con Rocco’s Perverted Secretaries 5. Rocco è infine candidato anche come miglior regista dell’anno (Director of the Year il nome completo della categoria) e Performer/Director Site. Nel ruolo di regista, anche Benefit Monkey ottiene la prestigiosa nomination nella categoria Performer/Director Site of the Year grazie alle produzioni del suo sito web TheBenefitMonkey.com. L’artista e produttore italo-svizzero è candidato anche nella categoria Emerging Web Brand of the Year con il sito internet LezKey.com, brand e portale dedicato alla distribuzione di contenuti lesbo, gestito e diretto da Brisen Lestrange.
Grande successo anche per un’altra grandissima star del porno nostrano, Valentina Nappi, che è in nomination nella categoria probabilmente più importante e popolare di tutti gli XBIZ Europa Awards 2024, quella del Female Performer of the Year, dove cerca la prima vittoria di sempre per un’attrice italiana. La Nappi ha inoltre due candidature in Feature Movie of the Year con Evermore (Digital Playground) e Scandalous (Digital Playground), oltre a una nomination in Glamcore Movie of the Year con Club VXN 13 (Vixen Media Group).
Proseguiamo poi con il nostro Dave Candle, che anche quest’anno si conferma tra i migliori performer italiani con due nomination: una come Feature Movie of the Year con The Budapest Affair (Sensual-X/sssh.com) e una come Male Clip Artist of the Year.
Dave non è l’unico italiano candidato come Male Clip Artist of the Year: anche Joe Di Marco infatti è in corsa per la vittoria. Di Marco è inoltre in nomination per Best Sex Scene — Gonzo con Britney Wishes Joe a Happy Birthday (Pervect) e per Best Sex Scene — Gonzo con Catherine Knight Screams and Squirts in an All-Anal Gonzo Scene (Private).
Nella categoria Glamcore Movie of the Year abbiamo poi altri due performer italiani in nomination: si tratta di Francis X con Cuckold Confessions (Private) e di Jack23 con Make Me Sweat II (SinfulXXX).
Doppia candidatura italiana anche per la categoria Gonzo Movie of the Year con Luca Ferrero per Group Sex Is the Best Sex 2 (Private) e con Silvia Soprano con Fucking Roadtrip With Anuskatzz (Z-Filmz).
Proseguiamo poi con Eveline Dellai, che si porta a casa due nomination in Gonzo Movie of the Year con Double Tap 3 (Sinematica) e Magic Number 2 (Sinematica). Eveline è in nomination anche in Best Sex Scene — Feature/Featurette con Beyond the Frame (Dorcel), e in Best Sex Scene — Gonzo assieme alla sorella Silvia Dellai, con entrambe che hanno fatto parte del cast di Archangels 6on3 (Angelo Godshack Original).
Nomination, infine, anche per Alexis Mucci: la creator italiana è infatti in corsa per la vittoria nella categoria Female Premium Social Media Star of the Year.
